“This is like a trial period, isn’t it?” DeMar asks. “I’m still on probation.” Josh sighs. As much as he doesn’t want to be alone any longer, he needs to be sure it isn’t him f*****g things up between them. Yeah, DeMar can say it was the tour bringing him down all he wants, but Josh still has his doubts. They’ve had the whole day and haven’t really talked things out—they’ve danced around the problem, to be sure, but if Josh gives in tonight, if he joins DeMar in his bed, then what happens when the morning comes? It’ll be back to what they had before, and as great as the s*x is, it doesn’t solve their problems. It can’t.
