I needed to push her away. For both of our sake. So I did what I was best at doing to her. I hurt her. I broke her heart. Breaking mine along the way.
I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard Nathan. He came running towards me. He stopped right in front of me panting. He looked worried and that was concerning me. It took a lot to worry him.

My entire body froze hearing this. This can't be happening. "What do you mean!" I yelled in anger. The witches were dead. I know that.
"Amelia mind linked saying witches. When I tried to mind link her back, I couldn't get to her. Worried, I followed her scent. It led to the woods. After some time it ended at one spot."
