I blinked my eyes at Sebestian who sat across me. We were on the cliff after our routine evening run. We always go together.
He laced our hands and kissed the back of my palm.
“I am sorry, Anna but you can’t come with me. It’s a dangerous quest. I am going to deal with the alpha of Blue Moon Pack. War is almost inevitable between our packs. I don’t want them to hurt you.” He said softly, but my heart sank.
I have no doubt about his abilities. He can plunder an entire pack alone, but he’s my mate and the care surfaced naturally.
“Don’t think much. I’ll be back before you start missing me, Ana.” He said to lift my mood.
“Who said I will miss you.” I tried to act cool, but I know he can read me like a transparent glass.
