I sighed looking at the crowd of my people gathered around the temple of our Goddess. They were whispering among themselves as I sent an urgent message for them to gather in the courtyard as I had to make an announcement.
It is always a subject of curiosity for them. Most of the time, they feel anxious and afraid since bad news were more common for us.
"Good morning, my people. Thank you for coming here on such short notice. I really appreciate your love and trust for me." I addressed them and the hall suddenly went silent to listen to me.
"Alpha, do you want me to announce it?" Dylan whispered to me when he saw my uneasiness.
I shook my head, "No, I am fine, Dylan. It's my duty to deliver it." I said and closed my eyes to prepare myself for the reaction of my people.
