I suddenly woke up when I felt the bus stopped. I looked outside. Looks like we've reached the resort. I looked at Chad. He then also looked at me. I can say that he has also just woke up. I removed the AirPods from my ear and returned them to Chad. We got off the bus and looked around. The place looks beautiful. We headed to the reception area of the resort.
"Okay, everyone. Listen up," one of the organizers asked for our attention. We all listened. "We are going to give your designated room numbers as you sign the registration form."
We quietly lined up at the front desk. Chad approached me immediately after getting the room key. "What's your room number?" he asked me. I showed him my key card. "117," he read the number on the card key.
