"Three against one, that's really stupid of you Quinn." Kayden chuckles, not even caring if Quinn had a dagger in her hand.
Quinn glares at him, "You really think I'm powerless, I'm pretty sure a person with a weapon has a much better advantage than people empty-handed." she says spitefully, Kayden smiles widely, not even bothering to hide his smile- which aggravates Quinn more.
"A person with a weapon has a higher chance of hurting themselves than the one they're trying to hurt." Hunter states, "And Quinn, it doesn't make sense- you're willing to hurt two guys and one girl all by yourself." He folds his arm, eyeing Quinn's weapon.
"I don't understand why you'd want to even kill your own blood." I say looking at her in disgust, "You're my cousin, why the hell would you want to even commit such a cruel act?" I felt deceived, it was crazy how someone who you call family wanted to hurt you so badly.
Quinn throws me a twisted smirk, "As they say, Blood will have Blood." I notice that Quinn was wearing heels, how could she attack any of us without tripping?
I notice Quinn grabbing something out of her pocket, it wasn't a dagger. It was shiny, I notice that it was a gun- she clearly can do what she wants without even moving.
"Get down." Hunter mumbles, Kayden and I look at each other and nod.
"Such cowards." Quinn spat as I grimace, Kayden looks at me as he leans his head on the car we were hiding behind.
"I'm going to get her from behind, stay behind this car." he mutters quietly as he slyly walks off.
I could hear Hunter breathing heavily as Quinn loaded her gun, isn't he going to move.
"Hunter, the guy who traded everything for his title- the ruthless beast, it's such a shame that once you die nobody isn't going to remember you." Quinn looks at him.
"Since you'll be a forgotten soul, it's how life is- once you're gone people grieve but after a week or so- they'd forget about you completely." Hunter clenches his fists as Quinn continues to mock him.
"Shall I finish you off first and then find the other two fools?" she enquires.
I pull my phone out, it's for the best. If I call the police it wouldn't hurt.
I dialled 911 as I place my phone down.
"You're such an idiot." I hear Quinn snap, I look to find Kayden standing a few feet away from Quinn.
She pulls the trigger, it was as if Kayden's life flashed before my eyes. The bullet pierced through his stomach, Hunter widens his eyes as he looks at Kayden.
Kayden falls to the ground clenching his stomach in pain as Quinn looks at him with no remorse.
Hunter rushed towards Quinn, he pushed her down but she pulled the trigger once again- it hits Kayden once more but this time near his heart.
Kayden breathes heavily as he struggles to get up, i rush towards him and help him get up.
Hunter then grabs the gun Quinn held and threw it on to the ground. He then grabs Quinn's arms and pulled them behind her.
"Let me go." she screams, Kayden looked like he was going to pass out soon.
I struggle to walk towards the hospital which was a good five minutes away as we were at the car park.
"You could shoot me all you want, but Kayden. My best friend- nobody gets to hurt him." Hunter growls as he held Quinn tightly.
Kayden chokes out blood, "I won't survive this, t-there's no point of taking me t-to the hospital." he stammers as he places his head on my shoulder.
"Come on Kayden, try staying awake." I say as I notice the hospital a few meters away.
"I don't think I can." he says quietly.
He loses consciousness as I felt his weight fall on top of my body, I clench my jaw as I attempt to make it to the hospital.
