**Beta Charles **
This morning training with the Alpha was different today. He seemed less tensed.
Training of our warriors is a bit more complex then just learning to fight. We teach our warriors patience, how to focus, to be courageous, to be fearless, and survival skills within their wolf and human forms. We focus on a few different combat fighting as well. We have Muay Thai, Krav Maga, Tae kwondo and basic self defense.
May Thai was Alpha Jason's favorite. Also known as the art of eight limbs. Using fists, elbows, knees, and shins to fight. It made use of the entire body as a weapon. Which came in handy when we were fighting other Werewolves in our human form.
As I looked at the Alpha training a younger warrior, teaching him how to do a Tae Trong a straight front kick. I am proud of my friend, my brother in law, my Alpha. We have known each other since we were toddlers. My father was his father's beta. Then we learned that his sister Kami was my mate on her 18th birthday. Surprising everyone.
I walk towards my friend, as he finishes explaining the move to the fourteen year old wolf. He comes to me and we start talking about yesterday's meeting. Then I let him know that his sister and mother are planning a pack ball within three months in hope of finding his future mate. He looks at me seriously with a blank expression, shrugging it off. I don't understand his annoyance of not finding his mate.
The mate bond makes our wolf stronger and helps them share burdens with each other. Every other wolf I have ever met were very excited with finding their mates at eighteen. I was thrilled to know Kami was mine when I was twenty-one. She has made my life complete since finding out. The way she smiles towards me after a long day. Makes my wolf feel at peace. I can be so angry and her touch alone relaxes me.

Another pack ball to find my mate. My mother is always on the search.
