I go around the banquet greet as many people as I could. Talked policies to some officials. Stealing glances at mate. I want to know everything about her but she looks so fragile and scared. How can I show her, I won't hurt her. I am her mate, the one the moon goddess pair her with.

I find my way to mother, she starts speaking about mates. "You need to find her, the pack needs their Luna. I want grandpups. You are 21 now, Quit playing around" she says. I want to tell my mother, she is right there across the hall. That she is at the table. I look towards her direction and she is blushing, she hasn't left her spot at the table. She seems quiet and distracted from her family. So I let Maximo listen to her thoughts, she is confused. She doesn't know what to do. So I turn away from and look at my mother. I let her know everything comes within time, not to worry so much.

Life as an Alpha has perks. I am able to mind-link members of my pack. I take the opportunity and mind link my future mate. I tell her, "it is okay to take your time. I will not rush you to be with me. I know it will change your life. It comes with many risk to be with an Alpha. You have my word that I won't make you do anything you are not ready for. Take your time and come to me when you want. I will be waiting." As I end the mind-link I look at her and see her look at me. With our eyes on each other she nods her head yes, with teary eyes she then mouths "thank you."

Holding this sweet person in my arms. Feels like a dream. I pull her into my arms and moved her to the bed. Laying in the bed, cuddling my beautiful person. I went to sleep at around one in the morning.
