CHAPTER 7: LEARNING ABOUT THE ARTIFACTS

Elijah with Nelsia walked into the room with a tray of food in their hands, seeing the sleeping duo and their closeness it made then surprised so they had to place the food on the table Nelsia turning to Elijah "Hey, I've got to go I have practice later on and a study session with miss Niagal later" "wait wait, what study session with Miss Niagal are you having? No one told us about that!" Elijah said looking at the girl in front of him no need to hide the look that says you are lying on his face "No need to worry, we are just studying the weird artifacts, do you know that a new rune has been added to the artifact" Elijah glanced at his bracelet to make sure she wasn't lying " bye see you later, and oh tell Gloria I stopped by" speeding out the door, Elijah finally started working on the trashy bedroom after finishing he stood straight to stretch himself when he heard the ruffling sound.

"Hey, what are you doing here Eli. I thought you had class" Gloria carefully unwrapped herself from the sleeping figure next to her "it's ready evening and am here to give you guys dinner and also show Fred his room"

"Hmm, thanks for the food but Fredrick's still asleep and if he awake I will let him know. So could you come by later?"

" Okay I would stop by first thing tomorrow morning to pick him up, tell him he has to be ready before 8 cause we still need to pick out clothes for him to fit well into the academy and also he doesn't have to worry about the tour around the academy I have obtained an intinerary for him to abide by" with that said Elijah strode out of the room leaving a final glance at the sleeping figure.

Nelsia walked along the halls that led to the principal's office the only thing illuminating the dark hall was her leg accessory shining bright, reaching the office door she heard two voices she has come to know the owners during the past few months she has been in the academy arguing

"You know that keeping him here is a risk and you know if the order finds out we are keeping the last breathing one that is a war decleared by us indirectly" Miss Niagal was talking with her sweet voice now laced with venom,

"Keep in mind that as long as we have the duo here breathing and alive , we have a 70% chance of beating Silus, it isn't long now before the prophecy is brought to life, and looking at Silus strategy it looks like they are his last ingredients to his plan so go with the flow" Nelsia who has been eavesdropping on their conversation retracted her feet back a yard then walked back to the door opening it like she had just arrived at that time.

"Nelsia, oh you've arrived take a seat am coming let me get the order book so we can see what the problem with your artifacts are" Miss Niagal left the room her eyes throwing raging fire at the principal, Nelsia who sat at the couch not far from them reacted as if she knew nothing.

Not long after Miss Niagal came back into the room with her black abyss wand in her left hand a an enormous book in the other, opening the book a few pages she finally stopped at a topic that said 'New runes new power' not understanding the concept there she asked the bearer of the book

" Miss Niagal, what is this book and why haven't I seen it before?"

" This is the book of the weird or otherwise know as the 'order book', it was written by the first weird ones who lost their path of pure magic and dable in dark arts. So they wrote down this book to inform future generations of weird ones to help them get through the process".

Saying those words finish, they continued down the part of reading the book, after a while of reading it they finally found a context in book relating to the new runes, Nelsia voiced out her readings catching Mr Nick out of his work daze

"One of the weird stated it here that a new rune appearing on the artifact after all is a complete means that the artifacts calls all together and together shall they find their purpose"

Miss Niagal and Mr Nick looked at each other and both sighed, Nelsia looking up from the book asked with caution"what does this mean"

"Tomorrow morning gather all of you at the combat ground we need to discuss the matters arising from this your new runes, it's time you guys know what you are!"

Nelsia left the office and went to inform the rest of the gathering tomorrow morning, with her mind in a rumble mess and her feet aching from walking all day she decided to go get rest first and inform the others of the news early tomorrow morning.

Fredrick rolled on the bed stretching out his stiff muscles, when fully awake he stood up from the bed searching for Gloria, that was when Gloria entered the room with a tray in her possession

"Sorry the food was delivered long ago but because you were sleeping and I didn't want to wake you, the food got cold so I had to run back to the kitchen and get this warmed up, let's eat come over" walking over to Gloria, Fredrick sat down on the floor opposite Gloria they were eating while chatting,

"Anyways Eli told me to tell you that he stopped by and he said he would take you out tomorrow morning to go shopping for your necessities, your boyfriend will be here before 8 tomorrow" Gloria teased Fred but he just shot her a dark glance and replied with "and what about you, I have never seen you attach yourself with anyone, are you sure you are human and not a robot. Take time to look for suitable boyfriend or in your case girlfriend"

Gloria was blushing hard right now so she took another topic and brought it up to escape the topic Fred choose,after eating Gloria volunteered to return the plates to the kitchen so she could use that opportunity to visit the principal, she has to discuss an urgent matter with him.

Fred got back to bed with nothing to do just layed himself on it. Not long after he heard a knock on the door thinking it was Gloria he answered the knock with an abuse

" f**k you Gloria, this is your room why need to knock when you can just enter and...." He hasn't finished his sentence when a figure entered the room wearing a short sleeved t-shirt allowing his tattoo to show and a blue short and his white hair unpacked flowing behind him,

"Huh, hi Eli I thought it was Gloria knocking she tends to play prank on me sometimes. So I heard you came looking for me before what happened"

"Just wanted to check on you as your mentor guide I just wanted to check in on you, okay bye see you tomorrow" Eli got up from where he was seating and winked In his direction.

Fred stared at the retreating figure for a long time his heart pounding very fast and as if he could hear his blood rushing through his veins, not knowing what to do he buried himself deeper into the cover thinking about how life is unfair to him.
