CHAPTER 2: THE TOUR AROUND SPELLBOUND ACADEMY

From afar the building looks normal to Gloria but enigmatic to her when she got close she saw how large the building is, Miss Niagal lead her inside the building which was full of people who were rushing to get to their various class" stick with me this hall is long and broad, and you don't want to get lost" with that said they stopped at the first classroom " this is the physics class and you will be tested first to determine your intelligent quotient on the subject before giving you your seat" walking more and stopping at another classroom " Here is the English class where you learn to speak the language fluently (mainly it is meant for magicians that can't speak English)" walking down the hall and turning right they came in contact with a large hall" here is the P.E hall where the sports activities take place" Miss Niagal took Gloria all around the building by the time she stepped out she felt the ache at her ankle so she sat down by the stairs to rest her legs and ease her breathing.

" Here is your time table, tomorrow

you start your classes and make sure you are there early. I will get someone to lead you to your dorm, tomorrow you shall continue your tour around the academy to get aquinted with that area so as not to get lost in the future" then Gloria saw a figure coming towards them, upon getting closer to them Gloria saw the girl's appearance more clearly, "Gina, this is the new transfer student from earth you will be taking care of her as you would be her mentor, and you will take care of everything that she needs to make this environment suitable for her. Am I understood?" "Yes ma" Gina answered "okay I will leave you both to it, and Gloria don't make trouble for her" and Miss Niagal left them both to each other.

" okay so my name's Gina, am a first year student her, just transferred here 2 months ago, my major is music and just turned 19. How about you?" While Gina was introducing herself, Gloria studied her noticing that Gina and herself weren't that different cause they are the same height and both slender figures but Gina seems more curvy than she does and Gina's blond while her has jet-black hair after comparing for a while she noticed the clothes Gina was wearing red and white striped crop top which shows her belly and a mini skirt coupled with her high knee socks, a black shoes and a white strap bag and on her neck sat a very shinning necklace with weird logos on them, she was sure she has seen those from somewhere before but she couldn't remember where but she vowed to find out where later " my name's Gloria am from earth, first year student newly transferred just turned 18 yesterday and graduated high school last month and my major is veterinary" she answered her. " Not bad, now let me show you to your room" Gina said, while walking to the east building Gloria noticed all head were staring at their direction so she asked" is there something going on that I don't know today, why is everyone staring at us?" "Well for starters, you are from earth and to see a magical being on earth is really rare so you being here is a surprise to all of them"

"Gina, why do all the clothes in this dimension have runes on them and what do they mean?"both of them still walking towards the east building, Gina turned her head to look at Gloria and turned her head back and started walking in the direction" Here in this dimension, you may not have been told but magic is an essential part here. Those runes you see are spell symbols created by our ancestors who have the ability to transform, they are for protection, transportation and so on. So those runes that are embroidered on the clothes are meant for protection mainly from high witches who controls people minds. You get?" Gloria processed all she said for a few seconds before nodding " so I will get to wear one of those clothes one day?" Gina looked at her and nodded "But your clothes don't have any of those runes on them" after walking for some few minutes they finally stopped in front of the east building " we are protected by the spells around the academy so we needn't wear the runes here, let's go up" climbing up the stairs the girls after walking for a while stoped in front of a green glass door with number 185 written on it " this will be your room and mine is next to yours so if you need anything feel free to knock on my door" "And before I forget this will be your communication device, see you tomorrow by 9 I will be walking you to class" with that she saw Gina disappear to the green glass door next to her room.

Gloria entered her room staring at ever nook and cranny to inspect the design, the walls were painted blue with white stripes, a small chandelier hanging out from the middle of the white painted ceiling and her bed shifted to the left wall of the room with a cabinet next to the bed and some books on it. On the right side of the room is where her closet is located, walking towards the closet she opened it to find all sort of clothes and Shoes and accessories. And To her surprise everything fits perfectly from the size tag she saw on the clothes, looking exhausted she took the box she's been holding since morning and find an empty space to slot it in and close the closet and walked towards her bed lying down and sighing in relief she remembered Frederick and tried to call him.

After ringing three times the other line pick up speaking in exhaustion the other person answered" Hello, who's this" Gloria happy that nothing happened to Fredrick Answered him "it's Gloria talking, how have you been" from her voice you could hear the happiness coming from her voice " Hey, Gloria where the hell have you been at. I've to your house to only find it empty and some places bashed. The police are looking for all evidence for you disappearance, What happened?" Fredrick threw all questions at her " You know am all right, just some people are after me trying to kill me but another set of people helped me escape but don't worry am alright when we see again I will tell you the full details. And Fred tell your mum I said Hi!" " Am not sure about this, and I don't trust anyone with you but I will take your words for it. And you better come home fast am waiting for you" "Okay I gotta go and prepare for class tomorrow, if not I think they are gonna kick me in the butt" Gloria said while laughing, sighing Fredrick said " Next month we were ought to start college together, be in the same dorm and have the fun of our life. I miss ya" " Don't worry everything will be all right" then the call ended.

Gloria placed her phone on the cabinet and starred at the ceiling for some time thinking about all that had happened to her for the past 36hours and what will happen to her starting from tomorrow, with that thought she fell asleep.
