CHAPTER 5: A MISSION ON EARTH

Frederick was running through the desert forest with no location in mind or no sense of direction, checking back once a while and the winged monster is still coming after him.

"Guys hurry this is code red, and Gloria please tell me you have been learning all the attack and defense spell inside your spell book?" Gina asked, "don't worry Gina, I have got it covered. No need to freat, what we need right now is to go save Fredrick" Gloria was feeling uneasy " okay guys we're here let's do a checkup, shall we:

"Okay now that we have it all, let's get moving to the principal's office to use the doorway". All four going to the principal's office, on getting there Gloria spoke first" we are ready to go save Fredrick, transport us now" " okay, now there is a rule to follow and that is don't let any mortal know your identity it is a disaster to you and your magic itself. With that said I wish you guys luck" Mr. Nick raised his wand and opened a portal for the group to walk into, after they stepped through it the simmering light stopped and the portal closed, "why would you send them to go stop a powerful monster all for a human, you know we have squads for that?" Miss Niagal said to Mr Nick" who told you that he is a mundane, yes he was given birth by mundanes but there is something about him that makes the order want him".

"Stop running you will be taken no matter what your powers will be ours", Fredrick was running on the empty street his legs exhausted he fell and started using his elbow and feet to push him away from the monster.

Stepping on earth Gloria inhaled the cool breeze, " okay now we are here, let's perform the tracking spell. Gloria think about Fredrick, it's essential to this tracking spell" when Nelsia was casting the spell they heard a scream in the distance, a street not far from them. "Let's go guys that must be Fredrick " running to the scene they saw a winged monster, Gloria got serious " Elijah take Fredrick and protect him don't let the monster get him, Nelsia and Gina let's run this monster up" Elijah got Fredrick and went to the farther part of the street and placed a protective barrier upon them.

"Saving him is of no use, darkness has claimed a prey and oder is here to collect it, so you need not waste your strength" "okay stop blabbing and let's get sweet:

Gina pointed her wand to the monster but its attack has no effect on the monster, "hahaha is that all you have, defeat is yours today" the monster suddenly breath fire, Gloria was not expecting the fire breathe so she opted for the spell she can use best the dark art of defense mechanism, Gina and Nelsia casting spells to fly from the attack was shouting at Gloria to do the same,

Sparks were flying everywhere and the fire was quenched the monster was touched by the sparks and it howled in pain, Gloria called the girls " guys I know how to defeat him, we need to conjure water spells to quench the fire within him" without time to waste the girls did as they were told and the monster started shrinking till he got to his human form, Gina and Nelsia went to capture him and Gloria went for Frederick.

Walking to the barrier, she saw Elijah holding Frederick seeing Fredrick state she was sad she had to calm herself down from walking over to the monster and ripping his head out. Gina walked over, "guys we got him, it's time to go back and Gloria please contact Mr Nick to open the portal for us" Gloria did as she was told and the portal was opened for them and they stepped through.

"Miss Niagal get Mr Helmond here, he is needed for his magic healing. You two place him on the couch he will be attended to soon, Gina and Nelsia take the prisoner to the justice room". Gloria and Elijah placed the unconscious Fredrick on the couch with Gloria still holding his hands tightly, not long after Mr Helmond and Miss Niagal entered the office and Mr Helmond asked how Fredrick got his wounds so as to be sure of the healing spells he will use on him, when Gloria explained it to him he got his wand out and began his healing session chanting in strange language and some in English. After some time chanting and healing Fredrick wheezed and started trashing about, Elijah held him down and Mr. Helmond placed a sleeping spell on him "okay Gloria take him to your room, we will prepare his room for him tomorrow morning" Mr Nick said and went back to his desk with miss Niagal trailing after him. After all were out the door leaving only the 3 adults miss Niagal asked again "And you are sure he is a supernatural, I did the test all results were mundane" Mr Nick laughing said nothing and continue inspecting the documents.

When Elijah and Gloria got to Gloria's room they placed Frederick on her bed and Elijah glanced at Fredrick once more before stepping out the door. Gloria fell asleep watching over Fredrick sleeping frame.

The three demons trapped in the pentagram, spoke in unity " magician you have summoned us here without our approval and yet you still trapped us like birds, you flesh will be the attornment for your sins".

The anonymous magician answered them while laughing" don't worry, the people you would battle am sure you will like their flesh more they are all you could ever want and plus they are a better sacrifice"
