book II: war chapter 8; weakness

Scene 1

Scene 1-1

Location: the northern water tribe 

They were all confused, speechless, helpless and shocked. A ship opening up and planes flying out of it? When was that a thing? But to their surprise, that was nothing, there was 10 ships in total, after the planes got out, each 2 ships went and got stuck to each other forming a triangle, then spikes came out of all sides of the 5 triangles, 5 lines of spikes. The picture was horrifying, 5 humongous triangles with sharp spikes all over them, what's next? And what was next was that they got out of the water and fixed themselves up and started running toward the houses and crashing them one by one. The numerous water attacks people have given to those machines did nothing, not even scratch them*

Nova: our only hope is to get inside of them and break them down from there, Hiroku, you go make sure Yin is safe. Me and the others will take care of the attack 

Scene 1-2

Location: Nova's house

*Hiroku bursts in, grabs Yin and heads out with him passed out on his neck, he notices that the fire ring is out and glowing every second or so then it comes back to normal just to glow again. He couldn't understand why, and as he was going out of the house, one of the triangles passed by and broke it, Hiroku barely dodged it. Not to grab anyone's attention, he covered Yin's left hand in ice so that when the fire ring glows nobody would see it, unless they're standing close to him. When the triangle passed by the house, it noticed Yin and Hiroku, so it changed its direction and so did the others, the planes started firing at Hiroku in an attempt to capture the avatar. Hiroku had no choice but to go in the ocean, he went deep inside gaining a bit of time before the chase continues, he created an air bubble then moved his hand around, as if he was bloodbending, Yin woke up, and the fire ring went back I side so Hiroku took off the ice that was around the avatar's hand*

Hiroku: are you o-

Yin: you're a bloodbender 

Hiroku: what? 

Yin: you're a bloodbender, I felt it when you were fighting, you bloodbended me. Not only did you use an illegal bending art, but you also lied to me

Hiroku: ok I might've lied, but I have a reasoning for it

Yin: (clearly upset) if you wanted us to be good partner then no secrets should've been hidden from each other 

Hiroku: listen Yin it's not the time for you to whine about me hiding a secret or two, the southern tribe is getting destroyed as we speak 

Yin: I don't care

Hiroku: you're the avatar, you should care

Yin: but I don't. 

*they both saw people driving to get them*

Yin: deal with them on your own Mr. Bloodbender, I don't think my help would be needed *opens the ocean floor and gets inside of it then closes it and disappears*

Hiroku: Yin where did you *an ice crystal hit him so he turned around and started fighting them* 

Scene 1-3

Location: an iceberg next to the southern water tribe 

*Yin was sitting there looking at the tribe being destroyed, he was too tired and heartbroken to do anything about it, he just watched. Suddenly he feels a presence of a figure behind him, when he turn around he finds Korra*

Yin: avatar korra

Korra: may I sit next to you?

*Yin extended the ice and korra sat*

Yin: why are you here?

Korra: why are YOU here Yin? You should be over there protecting my tribe and its people 

Yin: I don't know, I honestly don't 

Korra: every avatar, before becoming a master, pursues bad events differently, and translates it into energy, me for example, I used to transform them into anger, whenever something bad happens I always get angry and start hitting things and screaming like a madman, I was stubborn. Until my encounter with Zahir, that's when everything changed. But that's for another time. What I'm trying to tell you is that you translate them into weakness, whenever something bad happens, you completly lose the energy to do anything about it, you become weak, just like your fight with Zei when you were at that cave, if it wasn't for Yang and the guardians you would've done nothing. And look at you now, history repeating itself. 

Yin: so what should I do?

Korra: that's up to you, avatar. I only came here to tell you about the source of your weakness, as a key to help you understand it more so that you could take it down one day. For now, good luck 

*vanishes*

Yin: wait I still wanted to *sights, then sits down and starts crying* 

Scene 1-4

Location: the tribe

*Hiroku pops up from the water and sees the tribe, well what's left from it. Is this really how it's going to be? First the fire nation, now a water tribe, what's next? The earth kingdom? The air nomads? The spirit world? Is there a pattern? Or is it just random. Those trails of questions were cut by a sound of a heat detecting bomb blowing up one of the houses. If Yin was needed he was needed now, he was the only one able to make a heat source strong enough to keep the bombs away from homes and citizens

Scene 1-5

Location: the iceberg 

*as Yin gathered his thoughts and got up, he was hit by a decoy. When he looked up to who threw it he found katsumi and 6 of her guards. He waterbended the ground under her to capture her as well, with only her face still visible. The guards aimed guns at his head*

Yin: you won't shoot me, you can't. If you do then you'll have no one to close the spirit portals for you

Katsumi: well well well, you've finally put your brain to work for once avatar. But again, I'm still 2 steps ahead of you. My soldiers are all waterbenders, and the guns don't have bullets in them, they have needles. 

*immediately after she said that all 6 guards fired a shot at the same time putting 6 needles in Yin which made him faint immediately*

Katsumi: you know what to do

*with that they broke the ice beneath them and went underwater with the avatar. As they were walking, a guard noticed the fire ring doing what it was doing when Yin fainted because of Hiroku*

The guard: m-ma'am

Katsumi: yes

The guard: look 

*he pointed at the ring, katsumi observed it then took it out of Yin's hand and in her pocket it went* 

Scene 1-6

Location: the southern tribe 

*Hiroku heard a scream, it was coming from Yang, Yin's badgermole. He went there to check what's wrong*

Hiroku: what's wrong buddy?

*Yang kept growling and looking at the iceberg Yin was captured in* 

Hiroku: is Yin there? *bended all of the water between them and the iceberg into ice so that they can both walk there. When they reached the iceberg Yin was nowhere to be found*

Hiroku: nobody is here, nothing is here, except for this big whole, that doesn't look natural at all. Yang, come here for a second 

*Yang went ther and smelled around the whole then growled more aggressively looking at where Katsumi took Yin. Hiroku then took Yang and himself underwater and followed Yang as he led him somewhere. They were behind katsumi which she was aware of, so she sent 4 of the 6 guards to shoot them as well, and although Hiroku was able to stop 2 of the needles from one side, he wasn't able to stop the other 2. He fainted and Yang floated up*

Scene 2

Location: a hidden base 

*it was all metallic, and had a lot of screens in one of its sides, each screen showing something different, and it had a lot of other devices, but mainly, Yin was trapped in a glass box at the middle of it and Hiroku was held down by belts onto a wall with his mouth covered. Yin woke up a while after Hiroku did*

Katsumi: no need to even try, you can't bend anything outside of your box, and even if you do bend inside of it, this is the hardest, strongest glass in the whole universe, trying to break it is like trying get back this *shows the fire ring*, useless.

*when Yin saw the fire ring he freaked out and started hitting the glass door firebending at it, but as katsumi said, it was useless. Hiroku tried to bend but couldnt do that. When his mom noticed she turned around to him*

Katsumi: we blocked your chi paths, son. It's a shame, you could've been here next to me enjoying this victory. Look at the screens, every plane and every triangle have cameras in them to show us what's happening 

*the screens showed complete chaos* 

Katsumi: now, avatar. Are you ready to submit to my orders and cooperate with me?

Yin: you're a fool for thinking that's happening any time soon.

Katsumi: I expected that *she hit a button. It opened the floor under Hiroku and there was some clear bubbling liquid inside* 

Katsumi: that is very strong acid, it will melt your skin and bones. Now Yin, you either cooperate or get your boyfriend thrown in there

Yin: he's your son, there's no way you have the heart to do that

Katsumi: I'm destroying cities Yin, do you really think I even have a heart? 

*the thing Hiroku was attached to started lowering making Hiroku closer to the acid*
