  26 Kelsea tried to open her eyes, but they were glued shut. Her brain was foggy, stopping her from remembering what she was doing before she went to sleep. Did she stay up late drinking alone? She shook her head, then winced. Why does that hurt so much? There were voices around her, but it sounded like she was in a pool. Funny. She didn’t feel like she was swimming. Swimming and drinking did not sound like a good idea. She tried to open her eyes again, but was immediately assaulted by the sun. Why did she leave her blinds open? And why were there so many people in her house? “She’s waking up,” someone said, still sounding far away. She pushed her eyelids up, but they revolted and clamped down hard again. She groaned. She had to figure out what was going on. “Turn off the lights,”
