Martina shot me a concerned glance, and I shifted my grip on my M96. “Hunter, you find anything?” I asked over the comms. He didn’t answer. “Hunter?” I tried again, adding emphasis this time. I almost jumped when his head appeared out of the dark breach. “We shouldn’t stay here,” he said. I hadn’t known him long, but it was long enough to see he didn’t scare easily.
