Quatra Hellan’s tower was one of the largest in CUMA, positioned near the center of the city. And however dramatic its position and placement, the woman herself was even more so. Her tone and behavior shifted to match who she was conversing with, bolstered by the spectacular setting of her main showroom floor with its impressive views of the city.
Despite the warnings from Hunter and Gloria, something about Quatra’s wildly flirtatious behavior toward Hunter unnerved me. I found myself overanalyzing the reaction, wondering why I would feel that way, which only unnerved me further. But by the time their obviously long-honed banter concluded, Quatra had agreed to help us investigate Arrasteel in exchange for Hunter surveying a drifting derelict.
