20 The elevator doors parted to reveal a sub-basement corridor bathed in the artificial glow of bright ceiling lights. The air down here was always a little stale. Or maybe that was just her imagination. Anna stepped out in beige pants and a red t-shirt, her white-tipped hair done up in a nubby little ponytail.
