Four unanswered texts and three calls dropped straight to voice mail. Sigh.
Beau put his phone away. It was quite obvious Vin didn’t want to talk to him. Which, honestly, Beau had to admit, he probably deserved. Beau was the one who had actually changed his cell phone number in order to avoid discussing it. But it did make it a real b***h to try to apologize.
“Come on,” Chaz said, sticking his head out into the hallway. “You’re missin’ the best part.”
Beau snorted. “There’s a best part?”
Chaz assumed a lofty expression. “It took five Oscars, including Best Picture. You just need to get more culture.”
Beau raised an eyebrow. “It’s a bad movie. All the culture in the world isn’t going to change that. I don’t care how many f*****g awards it won, it’s dull.”
