Rehearsal

"I met him in Iceland, and we kissed under the aurora borealis." Elvira flipped through Lorcan's notebook, which he had found from his father Lorcan's belongings. A few days ago, the notebook was still empty, and today, this line appeared on the first page of the notebook. What a marvelous notebook. Lorcan and his lover met in Iceland, which was pretentious. Elvira skimmed her mouth and angrily threw the notebook aside. If Lorcan had had had such a romantic encounter with Irisa Halliwell, he could have had a happy family. Thinking about this, Elvira became even more angry, and he wanted to find someone from Luminous Entertainment to take it out on. Elvira opened his phone and saw Lily leaving a message on the Luminous app, "Mr. Nieva, you can look for signed scripts in the signing pool on the app, which is full of scripts signed in recent years, and according to the contract, Luminous Entertainment will need to plan and shoot a TV series or movie that you specify every year. I can send a professional acting teacher to guide you." There was no way he could take it out on Lily after seeing such a polite message. He wondered if Lorcan's lover was in a position of power here. Thanks to his lover's blessing, he could even be in Luminous Entertainment and be high and mighty. Thinking of this, Elvira was so angry that he couldn't help but punch and kick his pillow, which was an excellent way to escape his anger. He opened the Luminous app signing pool, and the scripts inside had detailed shooting progress, crew introductions, and what kind of actors were needed. Someone can apply on the app if he wanted to play any role. Elvira scratched for a long time but didn't like any of the roles, so he clicked to the last page. "The Aurora in Iceland?" Elvira saw the last page of the signing pool. There was a signed movie script, only the author's signature: Vega. The rest of the filming arrangement was surprisingly blank. This was a movie script that no one looked at favorably. "This script is quite in line with the line on the notebook." He took a direct screenshot and forwarded it to Lily with one click. "How can they fall in love at first sight in Iceland with mulled wine and hot springs? What garbage, it's all garbage." Elvira grumbled as he grumpily looked at the script. He grabbed a pen and wrote in his notebook, "I can't believe my father and that lover were so pretentious in Iceland, disgraceful trash." "It's just that you haven't experienced it." The notebook appeared after the sentence Elvira wrote, and only Elvira didn't notice. Altair walked out of the secret room. By now, he was already dressed in a suit. Gold-rimmed glasses were on the bridge of his nose, and under the lenses were his cool and sharp eyes. He looked into the mirror, straightening his collar, "drip drip." When he received a message on his cell phone, he touched another phone from under the office desk. It was the Luminous app, and a message popped up inside, "Dear Mr. Vega, your signing 'Aurora in Iceland' has been entered into the collection sequence of the newly signed actors of Luminous Entertainment, and in the recent days, Luminous Entertainment is ready to start shooting. If you have any questions, please get in touch with your contracted screenwriter." Altair looked at this message and raised an eyebrow, his eyes a little confused. He walked to his desk and opened Luminous Entertainment's intranet system. Slender fingers jumped on the keyboard, and it didn't take long before he found the information he wanted: the newly signed actor, Elvira Nieva, had selected the movie script Aurora in Iceland, and according to the terms of the contract, Luminous Entertainment was going to prepare for filming of the drama. Elvira Nieva, is that the new actor who came over with the Sterling family token he gave out? What exactly was his relationship with Lorcan? Altair stroked his brows and took a deep breath as he picked up the phone and dialed Saxon's office directly, his voice as cold as ice as he said, "This is Altair, the new signing actor choosing the script without an agent to gatekeep? Well, you go and fix it." After saying that, he hung up the phone. In the past, he missed Lorcan too much. He was afraid that he would forget Lorcan's face along with his memories in Iceland, so he wrote down that memory word by word when he could still remember. Later, when waiting Lorcan had become a habit, a way of life, that memory was forgotten in his signing pool. It wasn't until he had just received the news that he remembered this book, Aurora in Iceland. Of course, Luminous Entertainment couldn't make this play, even if Elvira Nieva was to play it. Altair didn't look up Elvira's picture on the system. After asking his secretary about his schedule, he decided to see who Elvira was in person. Saxon leaves the secret room and gets down to the business of taking care of his busy schedule, but idly remains immersed in yesterday's exciting s*x with Altair and his anger at who Lorcan is. Unexpectedly he received a direct line call from Altair, Altair's voice was cold and messy, like an inviolable holy god of the snowy mountains. Still, then thinking about his kind of bewildering and dazzling posture underneath him, Saxon couldn't help but feel a fire in his heart. "I know; I'll go and fix it." Saxon still replied respectfully on the surface. On Elvira's first day here, he chose a script that made Altair pay attention, so it seemed like he was a character. Saxon opened the intranet and carefully read the movie script Aurora in Iceland. The story of this drama was straightforward and didn't fit in with the current mainstream tendency of movie selections. After Saxon finished reading, he didn't call Michael Johnson or Lily because Elvira had that right according to the contract. Hence, he found Elvira's dormitory location in the intranet system and planned to see him in person. Luminous Entertainment provided all newly signed actors with single rooms for training and management convenience. Most actors chose to live in the dormitory, and Elvira was no exception. At this moment, the sunlight was shooting into the cracks of the windows. The room had no lights on, and the bright sunlight broke into the dimly lit room. Elvira leaned on the sofa, his right hand scratching the tablet to read the script, his left hand holding a cigarette, saying his lines in the mirror. "I'm alone in Iceland, waiting for someone to come along and watch the aurora with me." "Try the mulled wine I made, my savior." "I thought if I finished a sketch of you if I still missed you, I'd come to you." "Because I was halfway through the drawing, and all I could think about was you, I came to you." Between the lines of the script, Elvira reads a fiery, rolling love. He can even imagine him and the one he loves embracing and kissing under the magnificent aurora as he dedicates his soul to his beloved and swears an oath under the snow of the Holy Spirit. Saxon looked at the half-open door to Elvira's dormitory. He knocked a few times, but there was no response. He pushed the door and walked in, only to see a young man wearing a white tank top sitting on the couch, tilting his head and exhaling smoke. The only sunlight in the room illuminated his face, outlining his hardened profile, and his eyes were surprisingly bright in the misty smoke like a star falling. He exhaled smoke, his eyes blazing as he looked at Saxon and said, "I'm alone in Iceland, waiting for someone to accompany me to see the aurora borealis." Then, his side of the head, looking at the cigarette , flicked the ash, and then looked up with eyes full of intense, deep love, whispered, "I think if I still think of you in my heart after I sketch you, then I'll come to you. Wherever you are, I have to see you. But I was halfway through the drawing and wanted to see you immediately." "So I saw you." In the smoke, the man's lips rubbed together, and he tilted his head back to take another drag; the corners of his mouth quirked, and his eyes held a smile, "My savior." It had to be said that this man was a born actor because, for a moment, Saxon believed it. Elvira didn't get up to greet this person who walked in; he leaned back comfortably on the sofa, smoking a cigarette and tilting his head to survey Saxon. Since he knew that Lorcan and that lover had fallen in love after meeting in Iceland, he had deliberately ordered the script Aurora in Iceland. He believed that Lorcan that lover, would always come to the door. As long as the surname Sterling is tried, always find that lover of Lorcan. "Surname Sterling?" Elvira dusted the ashes in the ashtray and unabashedly sized up Saxon, "What's the matter?" "Saxon Sterling, Luminous Entertainment's human resources director, divides the business." Saxon extended his hand to Elvira. Elvira didn't get up, just sat and shook Saxon's fingertips as he held it, smiling with disinterest, "I'm sorry, I'm smelling like smoke all over me right now." "You're reading the movie script 'Aurora in Iceland'?" Saxon asked, looking at the tablet beside him and tracing his fingers twice. "You care a lot?" Elvira thumbed out his cigarette and tossed it into the ashtray. He sank into the couch with a loose posture, his eyes full of amusement and a meaningful look. "Your contract is from me." Saxon sat in the chair next to him, stretching his body, his eyes fixed on Elvira to observe his demeanor. "Uh-huh," Elvira let a little sound out of his throat, "I guessed the human resources director is still named Sterling, and you care about me a lot." Elvira snapped his fingers, comparing a gun with one hand and pointing it at Saxon, a hollow shot straight to his heart. "Lily hasn't hired an acting coach for you yet, but I just watched your performance, and it's very talented." Saxon took the tablet and tapped on the signing pool, selecting a few books, "These are the key projects the company is optimistic about. You can try it out with me making the contact, and no director will refuse." Saying that Saxon handed the tablet back in front of Elvira. Elvira's eyes followed Saxon's movements. After glancing sideways, he pushed the tablet away from him. He said with disinterest, "Mr. Sterling, a rookie actor who just started, who has the strength to take part in your big productions." He then clicked on the script, Aurora in Iceland, and continued, "If you want to help me, pair me up with a scene. I'm people here to watch the aurora with me." Elvira copied a section of the script and shared it with Saxon, "Just this section, start here." It had been long since Saxon had met such an interesting person. Elvira was cynical and opinionated in front of him, unconcerned that his position in Luminous Entertainment could greatly help his acting career, and could even easily refuse his help. So when Elvira made this request, Saxon didn't refuse and was quite willing to be Elvira's love interest in the theater for once. Elvira pulled a cigarette from his pocket and gave it to Saxon. "I was thinking that if I still had you in my heart after the drawing, I would come to you." "Then why didn't you draw the eyes, noise and mouth." Saxon's eyes outlined Elvira's brow bone and softly whispered. "Finished drawing." Elvira got up and sat next to Saxon; his pupils were deep, like whirlpools that could mesmerize people, ripples layered on top of waves, looking straight at Saxon, "All everyone has given me is their backs, and so have you." "But what you drew is not a back. It's my face." Saxon rubbed the cigarette in his hand and gazed up at Elvira, his gaze burning like a spark leaping. Elvira held Saxon's hand, biting his lip; the bottom of his eyes was a strong, melting hope, and continued, "Because I wish you weren't, at least for now." "Keep drawing, and I want to see me in your drawing." Saxon rubbed Elvira's wrist with his backhand and again placed the cigarette in his palm. "Look, the aurora, that's the aurora." Elvira pointed at the ray of direct sunlight, his eyes widened in excitement, then hugged Saxon's waist, "I've never seen such a beautiful aurora!" Saxon looked down at Elvira in his arms. Their eyes were so fiery, and it seemed like sparks rubbed off at the overlap of their eyes, as if something was suddenly ignited. They couldn't help but get closer and closer. They embraced and kissed each other.
