***LUCA*** I sat on the edge of our bed waiting for Scissera to shower and dress. I wanted nothing more than to join her. I wanted to trail my fingertips along every line of her body and soothe her muscles. She must have been tense from lying in that bed for so long and then shifting without warning or preparation. There was too much going on to indulge in selfish desires though. Instead, I sat pondering the meaning in her words. "I am the wolf." She'd said. What does that mean? I knew she'd been denied her wolf because of the torture she'd been through, but did that mean that none of the Shadow women would have a separate voice for their wolves? I didn't understand the mental or even the physiological implications for such a thing. Would there be lasting effects? I decided to ask Sylv
