A group of people hurriedly took the elevator to the roof, with Carrol holding an umbrella for Ashley.
As the rooftop door opened, two men stepped out of the helicopter.
The man beside Gabriel was in a green flight suit while Gabriel hadn't had time to change and was wearing a white shirt. Both men were quickly soaked by the rain as they strode over; their voices grew closer in the storm.
Gabriel approached Gael and swiftly took Ashley into his arms. Zane followed closely behind, nodding to Sharon in greeting. Then, they quickly boarded the helicopter.
The helicopter took off again, heading towards the city in the storm.
Gabriel looked down at Ashley in his arms, brushing away her sweat-soaked hair. He murmured, "We'll be at the hospital soon."
