After reading the message, Ashley put away her phone without responding. Then, she methodically removed her makeup and changed her clothes.
As she approached the door to leave, a male fan stopped her.
"Excuse me, do you have a moment? I'd love to buy you a coffee..." he proposed hesitantly.
As he spoke, Ashley noticed Gabriel emerging from a car across the street, striding toward her.
"Sorry," Realizing what was happening, Gabriel interjected smoothly as he approached, slipping an arm around Ashley's shoulders, "she's already taken."
Ashley wasn't going to accept her fan's offer, so she didn't mind using Gabriel to her advantage.
She turned to the man with an apologetic smile. "Oh, I'm sorry. Thank you for the offer, but I don't drink coffee in the evening."
