For the first time since I lived with the Briggs family. I feel really good, so I went to have a cool, relaxing bath in the bathroom.
I saw some of Darlington's clothing there and his underwear, so I put it aside and helped him wash it out. Since I was his wife, he doesn't want to let me go. It was best that I pick up doing my wifely duty until I get the chance to leave here.
After washing off Darlington's boxers and pants, I dried them and went to wash mine before bathing. I tried not to think about what Darlington had done with Jenna in the past. My father was right that Darlington and Jenna didn't have any children together, and maybe if I won Darlington over, he would change and start loving me. But knowing the kind of man that Darlington was, I couldn't seduce him.
