After I was through speaking with my mother on the call as she requested to see Bella too and she saw that I was doing fine. She smiled and ended the call, satisfied that I wasn't lying but promised to call me back.
"Big sis, I'm hungry. Can I get something to eat?" Bella asked me as she finally settled on the single couch in her room.
"I will send a maid to get you something to eat. I'm coming, let me go and inform the maid now. I'm also famished." I excused myself from the room and went to the kitchen to meet the two maids there.
They greeted me warmly while I asked them about what we had on the menu for lunch.
