I read through Caroline Roland's initial statement while Ambrose prepares the interrogation room for her visit. For some people, being questioned in the police station compels them to tell the truth, and for others, it's the entire opposite. We won't know what person Caroline is until after. She seemed open when we talked to her but the more accurate word for that is probably unguarded. It doesn't sound like there's a difference, but I'm certain there is.
My phone lights up with a message from Topaz letting us know that our suspect and her husband have arrived. I'm glad both she and Steve are on duty today. I know that no one at the station is going to think twice about us interviewing our own suspects, but it's just extra nice to have the certain support.
