Later, when foreign invaders threatened Crimson, the Taoist led his disciples down the mountain to defend the land, achieving a glorious reputation and earning the respect and admiration of the local people.
After the war, the Taoist was revered as a divine figure. Pilgrims flocked from all over, and the temple thrived. Local gentry and affluent families contributed generously to expand the temple, ultimately turning Quantum into the sacred mountain of Crimson.
