I’m not nervous when I walk into the court room. In fact, if anything, I’m every confident about how this is going to end for me and for Josh.
When I walk in, my eyes land on Josh as his eyes meet mine and seated beside him is his girlfriend Erica. She glared at me but I smirk instead, cat walking to my seat.
“Good morning Miss Emily. You arrived just in time, the hearing will commence shortly,” My lawyer said, extending a handshake to me which I took gracefully.
He looked around me, a slight frown on his face.
“Will there be anyone joining you?” He asked.
My eyes trailed to the door, hoping that Stiles would walk in but he didn’t. I glanced at my watch and sighed heavily.
“I am expecting someone but if he doesn’t show up then it’s fine,” I replied.
The lawyer nod
