A smile curved up on my lips when I read Emily’s text message.
I had lied about being called into an emergency meeting though it was the weekend but this was the only time I could sneak off and get the surprise I wanted for me.
Her assistant Mona was meeting me at the mall and when I walked into the mall, I regretted instantly why I ever asked for Mona’s help.
She had a wide grin on her face that told me she knew what this was about.
Mona screamed slightly, stomping her feet lightly. It was evident that she was quiet excited.
“I knew it! God, I’m so happy. FYI I was the first person who shipped both of you together,” she gushed out.
Now I understood why Emily found her overwhelming.
