Every time Abril saw Duke Vampel, she didn't know if it was because of the strange way he looked at her or because of the great resemblance he had with his daughter, which brought back bad memories. But she felt a shiver every time she saw him; as she walked away, Abril heard her mother's voice in her head.
"Abril, there is a seed of darkness threatening the palace."
"What?"
"Retrace your steps, use your power to find it."
Abril tried to feel her power, but there was nothing in her; sometimes it was as if her magic wasn't there, and it was very hard for her to feel it.
