What’s happening since I got into quarrel with that boss have been unable to get job anywhere, no one is receiving me to work with them, what is happening I hope nothing is wrong somewhere and am not even ready to go back to that company, that man looks so scary, even if I want to go back he might end up trying to get back at me for insulting him the other day, God what should i do now.” Kathie keeps murmuring to herself when suddenly she heard a knock at her door.

“And who is knocking at my door this early morning I just hope is not that house owner, am not ready to beg someone this morning”, lazily stood up from her bed.

“Who is knocking at my door early this morning,” still murmuring. “am coming,” she answered”

(door opens)

“Good morning ma I was ask to deliver this to you,” the delivery boy said.

“Who asked you to give this to me,” Kathie asked, while eye searching the file in the guys hand.

“Well there is no way I can know because am just a delivering boy, I can only check the address and deliver it to the owner” he answered her back.

“ok then you can go,” she said.

“ok Ma,” he said and left.

Immediately he left she locked the door and went inside to check what is in the file all to her greatest surprise, it was just a document that she found there, stating that she have to be in the office by 8 am to resume work in the company that she have been given the job of a secretary to the boss”.

   What!!  Does this mean am going to work for the same person I insulted but he said he is not going to give me the job so why the changed of mind.

What can I do now am so doomed and it almost 8 am already how will I get prepared and reached the office by 8 am, this is weird and no more option for me,

Seriously this man is wicked than I thought, and am to work in his house o gosh Katie you are so dead (Hitting her head)

Let me quickly take my bath and start going I really need to apologies to him maybe he an just forgive me, but he started it first whatever am just to go there work and get paid nothing else.

With that I took my bath and drove to the company on getting there I greeted all the workers on the last floor since the boss is on the 8th floor then I took the elevator to the 8th floor on getting there I saw the lady, the secretary I met the other day and asked her if I can go in, meanwhile am sure the boss is already waiting for me.

“Yes you can go in”, the lady answered.

“Ok I answered back and went inside the office

“Good morning sir I greeted him meanwhile he is not facing the front he is facing the other side that lead to the out screen of the city.

I greeted him again he still did not answer me then I walk to his table and knock at it, he turned his chair to look at me.

“what are you doing here” he asked me.

“Sorry sir, well I saw a letter from this company this morning asking me to resume work today, that’s why am here.” I answered, obviously this Man is something else.

“Really but I thought it was stated on that letter that you should resume by 7 am and now this is 35minutes pass 7 and u are just coming,” he answered me.

“Am sorry sir the letter is just reaching me this Morning before I could prepare I was already running late,” I said.

“You haven’t even start the job and you are already complaining,” he said. 

“Am sorry sir I never knew, u would call me back afterall u sent me out of your office the other day”, I answered him, obviously am getting pissed again.

“And so I decided to call you back is there anything wrong with that Mrs.?” he said

“No sir there is nothing wrong with it am just curious of why you called me back even if you are the one who decided that am not capable of working for you.” I answered him back.

“Enough of this topic, now listen go and meet the secretary u met before coming in she will tell you, all you need to know and mind you, for you to work at my house you will have to move in so go and meet the secretary there is a driver that will drive you both to the house so u can leave,” he said

“Sorry sir you mean am to leave in your house,” What!! This man Is crazy i thought. “I thought I will just resume work the normal time and close by evening and go back to my house.

“Hey look here am the f*****g boss here and I think I have the right to tell you how to do my job for me, if you are not ok with my options then you can leave right now,” o gosh why is he spitting out with an angry voice.

“Am sorry sir I just don’t know why I should stay in your house instead of going back to my house, am sorry for questioning you

“you are to stay in my house because I don’t play with my work and I don’t tolerate lazy workers note that and your salary will be paid to you accordingly, so now you can go there is so many work for you to do and listen you insulting me the other day is out of it next time if you should try what you did that day then you won’t even live to tell the story,” He said angrily again.

“Am sorry for what happened the other day sir it won’t happen again,” I answered.

“Better now you can leave my office,” Pointing towards the Door for me

“Alright sir. I said and I leave.

I left his office and went to the secretary table and I told her what the boss said. She looked at me and smile she told me her name and I told her mine then we drift into discussion.

“well you are lucky to be called back to work here, if not no one will want to give you a job in this city since the boss is the one in control of so many companies in this city,” Lillian said.

“Really then that means he is the reason behind me not getting a job since I left,” i said to her

 “yes he is,” Lillian answered me.

I was so shocked to the core, then why did he call me back to work, am not sure if he really wants me to work or maybe it’s his way of taking revenge, o gosh Kathie, you are dead.

“what!! he is so mean”, I answered Lillian.

“Really you haven’t even see the other side of him and you are already complaining, he is not who he claims to be since you will be living in his house you will get to know him more,” Lillian said.

“What do you mean by that?” I asked her.

“By the time we get to his house you will be amazed come lets go you have so many things to do at the house,” Lillian dragged me behind her kept on walking.

“So you knew I will be resuming today?” I asked her. 

“Yes I knew you will be coming today, the boss asked me to come to his house so he explained everything you have to do before he comes back, so let’s leave,” Lillian said.

“Ok let go, and nice Meeting you. I said to her

“And you too,” Lillian said

With that we both left the company to the supposed car that is to carry us.
