CHAPTER TEN Audrey had the dinner ready to serve in minutes. The baked potatoes had only to be warmed up, the salad was all made and waiting to be tossed with the dressing, and the steaks would take less than eighteen minutes in the broiler. The table of the dining room was attractively set, complete with a small, crystal vase of roses.
