CHAPTER TWELVE
Jerry was napping after dinner. He seemed totally exhausted tonight. He hadn't even wanted her to shower with him. In fact, he had seemed reluctant to undress in front of her, and was napping with all his clothes on. She noticed, too, that he didn't lie flat on his back like he usually did.
Audrey saw car lights flash into the drive and a car stopped. She peeked through the living-room windows and saw Shelby Minor get out of his car.
She glanced at the clock. It was only eight!
