HAZEL'S POV
I walked back to my room, my steps a bit slower than usual. I didn't want to bump into any of those three Kings for now and I was a bit scared one might already be in my room, waiting for me.
As I turned a corner to my room, I almost collided with a broad chest. One I was quite familiar with and it made tamales heat up my neck and face.
“There you are!” Blaze exclaimed, his eyes narrowing. “I’ve been searching for you for the past hour!”
“I was at the clinic,” I replied, looking away from him. “Just needed a quick check-up,” I added.
Blaze’s expression softened, but only slightly. “Are you okay? Do you need me to do anything?” He placed his arm on my shoulders.
