Hazel's POV
I felt Damien's tense body grow soft at the sound of Blaze's voice. I guess we could both say that Blaze's presence was actually needed. To be able to fight a dragon, we needed one too.
“Stop this foolishness, Mira!” Blaze growled.
Just like me, Mira started glancing everywhere, trying to find where Blaze was. His voice was distant yet felt very close.
“She isn't who she says she is. She is a fraud and I will end her life to save you,” Mira growled. If I wasn't being hunted, I would have said Mira's dragon was quite a sight. She looked so beautiful and ethereal.
“What?”
Mira's eyes found mine and as she saw me she smiled. “Gotcha,” she flew towards Damien and I.
Suddenly she got hit by the biggest creature I have ever seen in my life! Was that Blaze!
