AURORA Tears stung my eyes, threatening to fall but I had to bite down on my lips to stop them. Their laughter echoed in the background, filling my ear and they all stared down at me, murmurs and whispers of hate flying around. Eleanor had a sly smirk on her face, one that meant she felt victorious. There was no lying that she had done this on purpose to mock me. She bullied me silently. The other didn't bother to help, just giggled as I laid helplessly on the ground. My stomach tightened, and my body trembled. Maybe it was because of the cold wind that soothed my skin and dried up any tears, or it was the sounds of their laughter that numbed me. Eleanor leaned in, a cold demeanor in her eyes. “What's wrong, honey? Can't stand up?” She mocked, a smile tugged at the corner of her lips.
