CHAPTER FIFTEEN. AMBER KITCHEN. •••••••• A broken glass in his hand, Ricardo smiled at me as tears cascaded down in his face. He moved towards me from the bar where he'd gone to break one of his tumblers. "Would this be enough to soothe you and show you that I regret the fact that I hit you?" I stood up and moved towards him. I shook my head. "No." Another tear fell off his eyes. He threw down the broken glass and touched my face. "The imprint of my fingers are like tattoos on your beautiful face. I made a mistake." Once again, I shook my head and moved his hand off my face. "It's okay. " I told him for reasons I couldn't comprehend. "I have to make it up to you," he took off his shirt, revealing his fully inked body. His body was almost dark, there was hardly anywhere without ink.
