I finished my meeting in time to make it to Dee’s introduction. The seminar was packed, thankfully she gave me a ticket for a front-row seat. This was not what I was expecting. A seminar should be small but there were so many people here that many were left standing.
She was the last to be introduced, the only female and of color on the panel of five. It was hard to miss how the older men on stage try not to gawk at her. She had her natural hair in a half down thick curls with a chunky grown braid. Her yellow Vintage V Neck ruched Sheath Formal Pencil Dress accentuated her curves perfectly and highlighted her light cocoa skin.
Everyone briefly talked about themselves, sharing a few accomplishments before jumping to selected topics, from the history to the evolution of chemistry
