While waiting for Jay to get back from his meeting with the guys, I chatted with Pa for a few. He seemed to be in a lighter mood, and I was glad. Seeing how he was enjoying guy time with my godfather and Sebastian Black, I let him be. There was so much I wanted to tell him, but I was still a little pissed at him. I still couldn’t get in touch with Ma, but I knew she talked to Jay recently. As long as she’s fine and not making any mess for me to deal with, she’s more than welcome to ignore me.
Seeing that Jay was still M.I.A., I decided to finally call Sand back. She reminded me that she’ll be leaving for Portland at the end of the month, requesting I get back before she leaves. We talked for a bit, catching up on what’s been going on for the most part with work, my three-month vac
