I was elated by how everything turned out with the engagement party. Everything went smoothly and Dee was happy. We left a few hours before it was scheduled to end, taking the twins with us. They didn’t leave us much choice. With Dee’s head laid on the crook of my neck, I could hear her soft snores. She had Draken on her lap whose feet were on me, a hand wrapped around Royal tightly snuggled against her. This was the perfect picture. Can’t wait for images like this with our own kids.
A text came through from Dane. Supposedly he couldn’t make it because Lee ditched him and haven’t been in touch since. Honestly, them not showing up wasn’t a big deal to me. Think it was a good thing that they didn’t, especially after my talk with Vlad. Taking Draken from Dee, I made my way inside.
