Before Claire could even process the accusation, Zack had already hooked an arm around Hannah and hauled her upright. But the woman kept wailing, knees buckling as if to kneel again, forcing Zack to practically wrestle her to stay on her feet.
"Claire, no matter how much you hate me, don't take it out on a child. Just tell us where Lucas is. Hannah won't make this worse for you."
