(Author's POV) Juliette shook her head. "No, really. I'll figure it out." "Suit yourself," the man said. He turned and walked out, his bodyguards falling in behind him. He didn't look back once. Juliette stood on the curb, watching the taillights of the black car pull away. She raised her hand for a cab. Nothing stopped.
