(Juliette's POV) The tears came without warning. I didn't feel them building. One second I was holding myself together, and the next they were just there, spilling down my face before I could stop them. "Let go of me," I said again, but my voice broke on the last word. I pulled at his arm, shoved at his chest. "Let go. I don't want to look at you right now. I can't look at you." Dominic's jaw tightened. His eyes moved over my face, and something in his expression hardened into something ugly. He made a sound - short, cold, like a laugh that had no humor in it - and his grip on my arm went tighter.
