I hurried off to deck three and Commander Ney. Deck three had a combined firing range and armory. This area was Marine Country, there were even signs saying that above the hatchways. All of the marine combat suits were stored here, along with all personal or issued weapons. While the ship had an exercise area on deck four, the ship’s marines used one here. Very few crew members were seen on this deck. Our ship is one of the newer heavy cruisers had a larger-than-normal marine contingent. When I arrived for my meeting, all of them were present in the exercise bay. Catcalls and whistles filled the air until one of the sergeants put a stop to it. They had female Marines, so I know they had seen a woman before.
