2.The uncomfortable feeling

Today was the long awaited day,all the maids and servants stood in a straight line outside the palace,the senior servants on the right,the new and regular servants on the left,a beautiful red carpet was set in between,it took us a week to clean and prepare the house in perfection.
I fixed my long black dress making sure no one was looking at me.
"Behave yourself" Jones whispered,he stood next to me looking all serious.
"Yes sir" i answered lowly.
Jones was the junior Butler of the house,his father was the chief butler,Jones always had my back every time i was in trouble,he was the only male friend i had who believed in me.
A black limousine pulled in front of the palace,the driver quickly got out and went to open the door,he bowed when he opened the door,my heart beat wildly when a pretty lady with long blond hair and grey eyes came out,i was so certain she wasn't our master,although she was richly dressed,she brushed off her long hair with her hand showing off her slim figure and perky breast,why wasn't she decently dressed? she was in a short dress,exposing most of her skin.
"Don't look" Jones whispered,i quickly looked in down knowing it would cost me my job to stare.
I heard the door close and footsteps approach,i knew they were coming our way,we all bowed showing our respect,the footsteps stopped in front of me,seeing the high heels that were in front of me i knew it was that lady.
"Servant why were you staring at me?" She asked in a high voice getting everyone's attention.
"I'm sorry miss forgive her" Jones answered for me.
"And who are you?" A deeper strong voice gave me chills that i knew all to well from those years back asked.
"I'm really sorry" i said before Jones could answer.
My eyes were still fixed on the ground,i didn't want to look at master,not now.
"Amber lets go" master said lowly,i felt a cold shiver go around me,i knew she was staring at me.
"Fine my love" she answered.
I felt a sharp twig piece my heart,why was i feeling like this.
I heard the footsteps walk away,we all slowly stood upright, many glared at me before they left.
Jones stood next to me with a sad look.
"Please,this time try not to mess up,things wont be as they used to be back then when i rescued you from my father,this time the master of the house is back,we don't know yet how she's like,if you mess things up i wont be able to save you this time" he said sadly.
I faked a smile.
"I wont mess up anything Jones,i will be careful,i know if i get fired i will be homeless,now stop worrying and get back to work before chief butler calls on you" i said as he nodded.
A new servant approached and bowed.
"Sir you are requested to join the chief butler in the library now" she said.
Jones looked at me one last time then left with her.
I somehow felt bad,if he was scolded again it would make me feel horrible.
