Chapter 50 — Seduction at Its Finest

1051 Words
I turned my attention toward them fully. “Of course, Jess. Who else?” Lyra shot back, slamming the locker. “What are you planning to do?” I squinted at the person beside her. Jessica I think. Introverted in all senses, how she ended up running around with Lyra was still a mystery to me. I guess everyone wanted to feel relevant one way or the other. “Stop acting like some virgin, Jess. I'm going to seduce him, of course.” Jessica blushed scarlet, twirling her hair between her fingers. “Isn't that a school violation and, besides, how do you plan on seducing him? I heard he's quite scary.” Lyra scoffed, flipping her hair over her shoulder, then she popped two buttons open, gracing everyone with her silicone boobs. Okay, so maybe it wasn't silicone, but who cares? “No man,” she began with a smirk. “I mean no man can resist the charm of a young blonde chick like me.” She winked then sauntered away, hips swaying from side to side while Jess rushed after her. Fucking b***h. “Rosie.” My gaze snapped back to Lena. “Are you alright?” “Yeah, I am…” I glanced back just in time to see Lyra turn the corner. “Can I talk to you later, Lena? Something just came up.” I didn't wait for her reply. I bolted after Lyra. Lena called after me, but I was too far gone to notice. I turned the same corner, eyes searching for the physics signboard. Gotcha. I zipped towards the door, catching up to them in no time. The door stood slightly ajar and voices drifted from inside. I peeked in, only to behold a very annoying sight of Lyra leaning forward to expose her boobs with her hands braced against the table as she talked to Henry. While Jess stood awkwardly behind her, looking like she already regretted coming here. ………. “I assure you, Miss Nelson. Your fears are quite invalid. As I've told you, no one cheated during the tests and I absolutely do not need a student assistant,” Henry said, never taking his eyes off the book he was scribbling on. I smirked, pressing myself against the wall. Just as expected from a man like him. “But I insist, Mr Gareth—” “As do I, Miss Nelson.” He stood up, gathering his books. “I’ve actually decided to bring this matter to the academic board members—” “That is a wise decision,” Henry said, brows furrowed slightly. “Once they implement it officially, then I can start taking student assistant submissions, Miss Nelson.” I snickered. Lyra's face contorted into a tight frown. Jess glanced from her to Henry in apprehension. Henry finished gathering his books and shoved them into his briefcase, then he headed for the door. Lyra rushed forward—successfully blocking his path. My anger came back. Desperate hoe. Her smile looked tighter now. Less confident. “I believe you should reconsider taking a stand in the matter first, Mr Gareth.” She slurred, in a seductive tone. “With you, the school would be inclined to pursue the matter more fervently.” Henry stood still. Eerily still. What was he doing? Why wasn't he moving away? Then— He c****d his head to the side, staring at Lyra with a condescending look. “Should?” he asked. Lyra blinked sharply. “Huh?” “You said, ‘should’, Miss Nelson.” He pressed, emphasizing the word. “The word should… implies a certain demand to it, and I find I do not quite like that tone.” “Ohh…” she blinked again. “I guess I should rephrase that then.” “By all means, do.” “I'd love you to advocate to the school about the student assistant due to the level of cheating that has been going on during tests these days.” “Since you're asking, I'd have to politely decline,” Henry said, sidestepping her. She blocked his path again, eyes frantic. After all, someone was patiently watching her failure at seduction. “Are you sure you don't want to reconsider, Mr Gareth?” She smiled sweetly, pressing her body flush against his. Henry's gaze dropped. Finally, Lyra exhaled softly. She already looked victorious. After all, this was the moment she'd been waiting for. She was sure that after this, Henry wouldn't be able to say no. Right? I smirked. Except she didn't know Henry was not just some man. Or rather… He wasn't her manwhore of a father. Henry's brows furrowed, lips turned down in a frown. Then his gaze lifted back to her eyes. Lyra smiled cockily. “What do you say this time, Mr Gareth?” “You should button up properly, Miss Nelson. Your principal won't appreciate seeing you look like this.” Lyra's lips parted in surprise. “If you do not have anything else to say, I'll take my leave now.” With that, he walked off. Leaving Lyra and Jess speechless. He stepped out, glanced at me for a brief moment, then walked off. Like I’d suddenly become invisible. My gaze followed his retreating form until he disappeared out of sight. Only then, did I lean on the wall. I sighed heavily. Of course, he wouldn't talk to me. It's been like this for days now. He wouldn't talk to me. He wouldn't even look at me. “Lyra?” Jess called warily. I turned my attention back to them. Lyra's gaze stayed transfixed to the floor. Her fingers balled into fists. “How dare he?” she muttered finally. “How dare he embarrass me like that?” Henry wanted nothing to do with me. And this b***h… she just poked at my wounds. Now all that bitterness needed somewhere to land. And I'd found just the perfect place… Or person, rather. A devilish smile crawled up on my face. I guess I should introduce my presence. “Lyra—” Jess called, reaching for her. Then I walked in. “Well, well, well.” I clapped slowly, a coy smirk tugging at my lips. “That was quite a show, Lyra.”
