  ASHER'S POV   Something is wrong. I feel it in my bones. Deep, gnawing, buzzing under my skin kind of wrong. My wolf keeps pacing inside me again, snapping at the edges of my mind like he is ready to tear out of me any second now. And he keeps growling that one word over and over again.   Hunter.   It has been hours since we lost his trail. Days, maybe. I don't even know anymore. I haven't slept. Barely eaten. I don't even care. All I can think about is finding him.   My dad kept saying I was being reckless, that I should leave it to the guards, that I have got more important things to do. But screw that. I don't care if I am the Alpha's son or supposed to be playing nice with the council or whatever. Hunter is one of us. One of my recruits. Mine.   And something happened to him.
