"Eu, are you ready for tomorrow?" My mom's sweet voice brought me back to my senses as I kept on thinking about the girl whom I saw in the woods 2 days ago.

"Of course Mom, I am. Being the Next Alpha in this pack is my responsibility as the firstborn in this family." I narrowed my eyes at her, and then I saw her looking intently at me, then the tenderness I love in her Caramel-colored eyes.

"Good to hear that my Son." I felt her walking towards me and then giving me a comforting hug that made me calm. I'm a little bit anxious about the ceremony tomorrow, and I hope the whole Pack will accept me as the New Alpha. Their new ruler.

I hugged her back, and then I could feel her hands carefully caressing my hair to calm me.

She broke the hug and then looked straight intoto my eyes. I know she can feel that something is bothering me.

"Tell me, my son, is there a problem?"

"Mom, how did you and Father meet?" I asked her curiously. It sounds like gay, but I want to know.

She walks towards the balcony railings and stares at the beautiful sky with twinkling stars that shine throughout the night with the moon.

"I'm the Daughter of the Beta in this pack, while your dad is the next-to-be-Alpha in this pack. We were childhood best friends. I'm always in their mansion since my dad is the beta. Until one day, your dad became the Alpha, but he hasn't found his mate yet. They even invited some maidens for your dad, to be his fiancee. But none of them is his mate. When I reached 18, we discovered it. He is so happy, and he says he has already loved me since we were kids. And I confess the same too." I can see happiness in her eyes as she looks at me.

"Patience Eu, you will have your mate at the right time, "Were the last words she said, and I went out of my room.

"I want it so very soon," I whispered and stared at the beautiful moon, and I suddenly remembered her face.
