There came a time when I realized that Culture never felt guilty for protecting her peace by setting her boundaries. It was seemingly obvious in the way she hid herself. She didn't want to be discovered. She had severed all ties with me. And most probably she wouldn't want to be associated with me for the rest of her life. The very thought of that was heartbreaking.
