Chapter 11

Lily:
I carry my luggage up the stairs and into my room. I look around my room for the first time in two years.
Not much as changed. A queen size bed in the center of the room with a white comforter with blue flower design. Two gold tables on each side of my bed with lamps sitting on both. A window to the right with a reading nook. My closet, is the first door on the left and my bathroom door to the right of it.
I decide, to go ahead unpack everything now and put it all in it’s designated spot instead of waiting. That way, I won’t have to worry about it later.
I check my phone and see that it’s close to 10am. I need to take a quick shower and if I’m lucky grab a granola bar and head to the gym.
I quickly jump in the shower and start thinking about last night.
I’m still stunned to find out he knew I was at the club or maybe he didn’t and wanted to get out as well.
I’ll have to confirm my suspensions and talk to Emily. On the other hand, this morning he was thinking about me.
I know I’ve been raised by wolves, but I just never thought someone would really want me especially in that way. I mean it’s never been that way with boys in the past once they find out your a virgin they run for the hills.
That’s right I’m a virgin.
I’m okay with that though, it’s one thing the werewolf community has taught me that I could carry over to the human world too.
Also, just because I am one doesn’t mean I didn’t mess around. I know how to please a man and I also know what I like.
I just never wanted to go all the way. I wanted to save it for that special person.
Now that I know, that I have a mate I guess I’ll be saving it for him.
I meant what I said back on the cliff. I will give him a chance, but I won’t make it easy. I also, want a say in my life and I want to finish college. That is very important to me and I know it would’ve been important to my parents as well.
Being mated to an Alpha will just be harder for me to actually pursue my dreams though. A Luna, is a very important role and if I take it, my dreams are done.
However, I have enough time to decide about that. He’s got to win my heart first.
I quickly finish in the shower and get dressed to go to the gym. With it being Sunday, I get to work out legs. Not my favorite day, but if I get it out of the way it’s done for the week.
Down the stairs and into the kitchen I grab a granola bar and head back to the front door to go to the gym.
Alex:
When I got out of the shower she was already gone.
I sigh to myself, because I’m a little disappointed she still wasn’t in my bed. I could use to her sleeping beside me every night.
I step out of the doorway and stop my pity party of one and get dressed to go to the gym after breakfast. My bother and I usually box every now and again because it works everything out in your body and keeps you disciplined. Being a werewolf you need all the workouts and discipline you can get if your ever in battle.
Dressed and walking out the bedroom, I go down to the dinning hall and grab a plate of bacon, eggs, biscuits and gravy, and some hash browns. I take a seat at the table that Emily and my brother have already taken over.
“Morning.” I say
“Morning, did you have a nice sleep with Lily?” My brother ask with a smirk on his lips.
I look at him and I looked at Emily next.
“Emily, get your dog.”
She laughs at that. I knew I liked her.
“I would, but I want to know too. I think y’all are perfect for each other. I know, she’s stubborn, but that’s just Lily. Plus I know she just wants to make you jealous... oh crap I huh” she stammers
“Emily.. what do you just say?” My brother and I ask her and lean in to take over her space.
“ I huh.. I gotta go” she stammer again
“I don’t think so Emily, you’re going to sit here and tell my brother.” Dereck says
She looks back and forth between us both and finally gives into defeat.
“Listen she will kill me so you can make it obvious.”
“She’s going to make you jealous. Okay? It’s who she is, she wants you to fight for her. She has never had someone do that. So just go with it for a while okay? Please,I’m begging you.”
I smirk, “I already knew.”
“How?” They both ask shocked
“I told her not to do anything stupid to make me jealous and when I did she froze up.”
“Oh..” they both replied
“I mean I knew it would happen she’s human. I do love a good chase.” I smile.
“So is that what was going on last night?” Dereck ask
“Yes and no. Yes, because she knew it would make you jealous when you found out. No however, because we didn’t know y’all were going to show up. Also, how did y’all know we were there?”
I smile and raise my eyebrow in question at brother.
He laughs and says, “Well, we heard her call her Aunt Rose. So we left when we found out where y’all were going.”
“Okay,one that’s rude and two why were y’all with her Aunt?” She ask
I think of something quick because Emily here can’t keep a secret.
“Her Aunt, came over last night to talk to your mom about the wedding. Getting her nerves down.”
“Oh that’s so sweet of Aunt Rose. Her and my mom have gotten so much closer over the years. So that does make sense.”
Wow.. I can’t believe she bought that.
I look at brother and motion with my head to the door.
He agrees and we both stand.
“Emily, it was nice having breakfast with you this morning. But Dereck and I need to go hit the gym this morning.”
“Oh that’s great you guys have fun.”
