The Alphas Human Mate

Saturday

Lily:

It’s been a couple of days since our date. The rest of it, was perfect. He took me to a new steak restaurant and the food was amazing. But my favorite part of the whole date was talking to his wolf, Axel.

When his wolf told me it felt like an eternity for them I knew he was telling the truth. Axel is right, it has only been a week since we found out and they have been very understanding. But it seems so weird to me that our bond has gotten so strong without us being together that much. I know we’ve been around each other, but usually with human mates that I’ve seen for it to be stronger there has to be physical touch as well with communication.

Maybe that’s why he always tries to touch me when he’s talking? He also said from the beginning, our bond is unique. And it really is. I started thinking back as far as I can remember for the last 20 years and in history, but a lot of alphas don’t have human mates. It’s so weird and very unique.

Oh well, maybe the moon goddess makes the bond stronger for alphas and human mates. That would make sense since they are leaders and need their mate that it would progress a lot faster.

“Earth to Lily!” Emily says as she shakes me

“Oh yes what were you saying?”

“Girl! I’ve been talking to you for 5 minutes. What’s going on inside that head of yours? Does it have to do with some certain alpha?”She says with a huge smile across her face.

Yeah can’t lie to her.

“Yes it is. Gosh Emily this guy has me wrapped. I had a whole plan and it got demolished in three days.”

“YES FINALLY!” She screams and does her happy dance around me.

“Why are you so happy? I had a plan! Now, I’m a love sick puppy over here!”

“Because we will finally be sister in laws!”

She was never for my plan this whole time..

“Emily how long have you been thinking about this?”

“Since you stayed in his bed.” She smirks at me.

“Have you been helping him?”

“Well of course. I’m ready for you to be my Luna and sister in law!”

“You mated to an alpha and me a beta! This is so perfect Lily. Our kids will become best friends and we will live in the same house together. It’s perfect!”

Wow she really has put some thought into this and she’s the grapevine. I think I’ll kill her later.

“Lily please please give into the bond. You can figure out the rest later. He even told me he’d let you finish school if you’d just commit. The moon goddess chose you for him for a reason. Don’t go against her wishes because you’re too stubborn.”

My gosh she’s really selling this.

I give out a huge dramatic sigh and slump in the bed.

“Fine.” I mumble

“I’m sorry I couldn’t hear you.”

“I said fine damn it!”

“Oh Lily, this is the best wedding gift ever!”

“Yeah yeah yeah whatever. I was thinking about giving in in a couple of weeks anyways.”

“Just don’t tell him or his brother. I still have three weeks left of my internship so I just can’t pick up and move.”

She agrees and as soon she does the doors open for the makeup artist and hairstylist to start their magic.

The wedding was beautiful. The ceremony faced the mountains with her wearing a simple white satin wedding gown with a slit up the right side. A sparkly headband with her vail attached with loose wavy blonde hair. Light makeup and pink lipstick. She was breath taking. I have on a red satin dress with a slit up my right side as well with my hair pulled into a high pony tail with minimum makeup. The men wore nice fitted tux’s both looking like the next James Bond.

The ceremony was very intimate with only 40 guest, but the party has the whole pack invited. Which is were we are at right now. Both myself and Alex already gave our speeches and now it’s time to drink and dance.

I head out to the dance floor with Emily when the dj starts playing Booty Wurk by T Pain. Midway through the song everyone else joins in dancing. I feel hands grab on to my hips and for the first time I feel the sparks. I throw my hands behind his neck as we get into a rhyme. A couple of songs pass when it turns to a slow song. I go to put my arms around his neck when some she wolf ask him to dance instead. I wanted to rip her apart right then and there because of all people it had to be Jessica. Fake Jessica. Fake boobs, fake lips, nose and check bones. Girl has more silicon than Kim K. She thinks she’s the best thing around and can get any guy. Before I can even tell her to back off she already pulling him away.

My gosh I hate that girl with a passion. She has always been mean to me since I’m not a werewolf. I look at Alex and mouth at him that I’m okay.

I go to leave the dance floor when someone grabs my hand.

I turn around and come face to face with Zack.

“Hey I figured you could use a partner since your mate just got stolen.”

I laugh at that.

“Yeah I could use one. I guess you figured out who my mate was real quick didn’t you?”

“Lily, him and his brother where glaring at every male to stay off the dance floor until all the females were out there. It wasn’t too hard to figure out.” He laughs

“Well not many people know so I was just curious.”

“Well let me tell you, even though you aren’t marked every male knows now.”

I guess I won’t be hiding that secret anymore. We dance a few for minutes when Zack let’s go of me and heads off the dance floor when the song ends.

Zack will always be one of my favorites from this pack. If I weren’t mated to Alex I would’ve loved being mated to him.
