The car slowly stopped to the side of the road, and right in front of a big gate.
Caitlyn sat on left side of the passenger’s seat and Claire sat anxiously right beside her on the car. She looked many times and glanced at the gate through the window as she talks to her inner self, calming her pounding heart down.
Caitlyn had noticed she was not settled calmly on her seat and moved a lot while her hands gripped tightly on her seatbelt so she held one of Claire’s hands and gave her a reassuring smile.
“Everything’s gonna be fine. That is where you’ll be living now. With me, your new mom, and my husband, your Dad.”
